Our micro-green cultivator in the Ordal Dining Hall provides various amounts of fresh herbs and micro greens used on our salad bar and in menus throughout the year.
The Global Garden and Terrace Garden
Our commitment to providing fresh, local produce extends to our two campus gardens. The Terrace Garden was created in March 2017 and provided an array of fresh produce used for our Huddle guests last summer. The Global Garden is located on the edge of campus produced over 600lbs of produce last year. Both gardens are part of a university educational program giving students hands-on experience with urban gardening.
